Satya Films is in research and development with Adam Drake whose programme, Balanced Choice, is underpinned by Hope Theory and uses drama as a process of rehabilitation within the prisons and juvenile justice centres in the Northern Territory of Australia. Our research starts from the question- why are, on average, 90% of people incarcerated indigenous? This film will be developed throughout 2017.
Throughout May 2016 Satya Films supported David McCormick from Snake Oil Media to create LINKED, an inclusive dance film. The project is a partnership between Greenwich Dance, Candoco Dance Company, Magpie Dance and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. The film is currently in post production.
